Our Ministries
Karuna is about sharing the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with the people of India and beyond. Karuna Society (registered in India), aka Karuna Ministries, is a non-denominational, indigenous, faith-based, ministry based in northern India, not far from the majestic Himalayas. Through Karuna, a few called and committed native North Indian laborers are tirelessly engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ through the following main ministries:
Ministries of Compassion in Jesus' Name:
Evangelism
Pioneer evangelism in the places where the Gospel has not yet been proclaimed in Northern India.
Church Planting
Evangelism must be accompanied with discipleship, which we do through planting churches.
Education
Providing basic education to the marginalized, poor people through our primary school and adult literacy
Helping Hands
Helping people gain financial stability through income-generating projects and micro credits.
